Exxon[1] Coming to VS?

Unless its a joke, it would appear that Desmo is thinking of taking Exxon[1] to the Vs. Considering how much we love our magriders... this could be a big opportunity to solidify ourselves as the best empire around.

I know my outfit will love him, and so will yours. Hop in the thread and make him feel wanted and welcome. He's a great player, and our empire needs people like him and his crew.

Dark Skyes is now VS.
Exxon 1 coming to VS, we'll be too strong.
I'm not saying DS is strong, but at least it's mildly organized nubs as opposed to no organization nubs.

While I am GOTR, I speak here as a CR5, not as an ambassador of GOTR.

Who are we to say who can and who can not be VS? It's like elitism in religion and rural communities, something I am completely against.
Should these people choose to come VS, I will welcome them. I hope they do come to VS. I play to win. I want to march on the gates of the NC and TR one day. When I play this game, I play to completely destroy the enemy, pushing them back to their sanctuary, making them log off. I live for the days when the two empires team up against us only to be crushed by our skill.

Guru, I'd like to see you take GoTR to TR, set up, and try to accomplish what you do on VS.

We have too much organization and good players, we don't need anymore.

Without a balance, it wouldn't be fun to play against these empires, we'd roll over them constantly and be bored.
E-1 should never be VS.

No one EVER said they CAN'T come to VS, we just don't like the idea since it seems people jump empires when one side is winning. Stick with your empire through it all. Don't hop cause everyone else is doing it.

This conversation is over since we figured out it was a hoax (guh), but I am in total agreement with Raggy. We have enough VS and steamrolling everyone is boring as hell. Balance is best. Next thing you know the devs will nerf the VS weapons to get people back to TR and NC. It's an endless cycle.

Empire jumpers suck (alts are cool).

GotR works because of the organization within the outfit. It might be harder at first, but we'd adapt. The learning curve for the TR is much smaller than that of VS.

GotR doesn't want to go TR. We like being VS just fine. Prowlers are cool, but we're partial to mags.

Well, first of all, if we all went TR, you'd have to give us two months to rahash all are tactics and protocols, and to get everyone's BR and CR back up. Our pilots would need to relearn how to fly, our drivers how to drive, etc.

We'd do things a LOT differently, but one thing is for certain. No VS courtyard would survive an assault of 14 fully manned prowlers suddenly showing up, with air and troops support.

If nothing else, then just simply because we aren't used to it. The TR do not have a counterpart for gotr, bob or AT. Enclave lasted, oh, about a week. Dark Skyes is like AT lite.
