Ok, i still up to this very day get questions about my avatars name. Noyjitat is a word pirates used in a tv show called the pirates of darkwater. Basically a substitute for todays swear words. "Noyjitat!, they plundered my ship" or "Be quiet u noyjitatan creldeater!" They used many other words too, im not gonna take the time to name all the substitue words they used. Of all of them they used noyjitat and noyjitatan most of the time.

Series of books. Rahl is a family name. There are several Rahl characters in the books. Richard, Darken, Panis, Nathan, Alric, Drefan, Jennsen and Oba are all Rahls. So, I get to pick which one suits my mood. Richard is a swll guy...always doing the right thing. Darken and Panis define Evil and are in league with the master of the world of the dead to bring death to every living thing. Nathan is a 1000 year old prophet fighting to keep the world safe. Alric is a historical character, saved an entire nation from a scary mind control guy. Drefan is just a crazy man who kills whores. Jennsen is an girl who is rather dull but has a strange attachment to goats. Oba is a totally crazy fuck who beat his mother to death with a shovel, bites the heads off rats and hears voices.

So, when fellow fans of the series ask which one I'm named after...I can take my pick of saints and sinners. Mostly Richard is the best character.

well i really like the name "Raven" and i thougvht it was boring and so needed something with a big of RAWR!!! attahed to it so i chose "DarkRaven" that was when i used the trial.

Came back and made StarRaven117 (star seemed cool as it was coz i thought it was space like and futuristic) and then went VS to get guns so made the termporary alt StarRaven118. went VS full time.

Now reside as NC with name StarRaven118 as many people know me as that name.

Yeah, but he has alluded to her in a few others. In Soul of the Fire when the chimes are freed she is talked about a bit. Then, in Faith of the Fallen, on the way south to the old world Richard spots what he thinks might be dragon bones.

I don't think Scarlet is done. I think she is a character we'll see again.

Have you read Chainfire yet? The first half is hard to get through, but the end makes up for it. I think the end makes it close to one of the best. Faith of the Fallen is by far my favorite.

Actually, I don't think I got past Faith of the Fallen, if I ever even read that. I just havn't picked up a goodkind book in a while. Nathan, scarlet and Gratch were my three favorite characters and they all sorta disappeared. Bummed me out and I lost interest.

And that book that takes place in some southern kingdom... you know, where they all get lead poisoning or something... thats the last book I read. totally didn't advance the plot any, as I saw it. Sorta killed the drive for me.

My original character at release was a TR on Markov named MrGrieves, who I still play occasionally. Mr Grieves is a song by The Pixies - thought it went well with the whole Terran theme. Common came about when most of my outfit mates on Markov left the game, so I started this character as and alt here on Emerald around the time of Lasher 2.0, and figured I'd be "common" in that sense, so, yeah, that's about it. Had I known I was going to be here this long, I probably would've tried to come up with something a bit better lol.

I wanted a kind of a true name, easy to remember, simple, sweet, and pretty original, a name that I wouldn't have to worry about others using. The name Laylos spawn from this. It comes from no where, but my head and the name has only meaning that I give to it.

I wanted something interesting, but the first 20 or so things I tried were all taken. While thinking further, I saw a "Where are they now?" thing on the old band Jesus Jones. They said they got their name by sticking a hispanic sounding first name onto an English sounding last name (they first went with Paco Smith or something).

That got me thinking - how about a silly, slightly comic book-y sounding name? Like something from Sgt. Rock, but more tongue-in-cheek? Thus was CrusherMcGee was born.

I got my name when I was trying to think one up for an Archery group I was in. They were part of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe.

So I looked at names from that time and saw a few that I liked and wrote down. I eventually came to Thane Griffen, and did the e instead of an i because I'm 1337. It wasn't till I read Macbeth by William Shakespeare in my junior year of high school that I realized a Thane is a Scotish King or Nobleman, not a name. (i.e. Thane of Cawdor).

In previous games that I've played such as MoH:AA, CoD, UT, etc... I've always been known as Big John, because I'm 6'5" and my name is John. It was taken in PlanetSide and Thane was the first name to pop into my head.
