I'm trying to bug rev enough to get him to provide a Xml feed on his stats engine and I was going to the forums and the above page came up. I sat and laughed at the Google ads. Why are they serving up Leather Pirate Boots, Pirate Costumes for that page? Does it have something to do with Rahl?

Hah, yeah, the ads are hilarious. The way it picks ads is by reading the words on the page and making guesses about what content is there.

If you look at the SoV outfit page you'll see that our outfit ranks have a pirate theme. I suspect thats where it got the impressions that the page is about pirates.

Click the "Outfits" link on the top bar and check out that ad. Usually its one about "French Maid" outfits.

Yeah, I thought it was funny mainly because the page didn't have any more content on it then what you see there. I got a good Friday afternoon work laugh out of it.

Yeah, whenever I see that, I always see an add for "$300/hr in Rhode Island." Rhode Island is where I live, how it knows that, beats me.
