I just returned after 5 years and the game is looking good. I've run into a few more hackers than I would like but that is every MMO now.

now that the Lasher has been updated what are the good and bad points ....anyone ?

Still a lot of complaining and debating on ForumSide from all sides both for and against...

They increased orb speed, added AP mode, gave it a 40 round clip and reduced lash damage, and reduced orb size. The problem is they didn't give it a better CoF so even though you don't have to lead your shots nearly as much, the accuracy is still poor so your orbs go all over the place and the smaller orbs hit less and with less lash damage near misses don't do hardly any damage.

Some people want the old lasher back. Some want the old lasher back with only AP mode added. Some want other changes.

Personally I think give the current live version a better CoF, bring back it's lash damage and for that trade off reduce it's clip size to 30 and all would be good.

I still read but I don't play much anymore. A little sick of all the maxsuits ruining indoor play and all the stalemates where you either get lucky and are the one farming or you get unlucky and are the one being farmed.

I was pretty pissed about the br 26+ cert points being added which is what resulted in the extra maxsuits and other things that promote stale uncompetitive game play. I was br34 or 35 when I quit, I can't remember which but it was the final nail in the coffin for me when I found out that the br40 reward was certed with everything.

It was already bad enough getting the extra certpoints and now you can be certed with everything at some point once you finally reach br40. Everyone will reach br40 eventually. Just some really bad decisions being made since that soe fan faire where they added blackops.

I think I could put up with most of the bullshit if they just got rid of the extra cert points and changed the br40 reward to something acceptable like a cape or the laser sword.
