Hey everyone, have you heard about the new MMOG Global Agenda (http://www.globalagendagame.com/)?

It's a very interesting amalgamation of many genres (which I won't begin to try to describe) and is currently in Alpha. I would say that at least 75% of the current playerbase is from PS.

Yeah, so Global Agenda is in Alpha and they've changed a lot of things and are still tweaking the game. It's not a PlanetSide 2 and seems more geared towards those who like Unreal Tournament or what not. They are not taking new Alpha members currently; however, they should be starting a beta in several months. I'll post more info on the beta when I hear any updates.

I'm really finding it hard to find another game to replace PS and GA is probably not going to be that game....

I haven't played in while but Servinius said it's only 10v10 in any given "instance". MMO. Yea. right.

Thanks for the update on both games. I'm not impressed at all. looks like we're never going to get a PS replacement.

I wonder how much energy/money/maintenance goes into those servers, and how much room they take up?

There are private Planetside servers out there (though they are rare), one of my old outfit mates used to admin for one. Maybe we should look into that...

The server side client resides burried in the orginal cd's if i remember correctly. Which reminds me, I should dig mine up.

I signed up for the alpha/beta but haven't gotten an invite so meh.
